Turns out the new Fallout show is pretty good, eh? Who knew? I was going to do a The Ghoul roleplay, but I already did a rotten one some time ago (   • Fallout ASMR – Deuces' Gambit (Poker with ...  ) and it took ages to grow my nose back. Besides, my teeth are far too Anglo Saxon to compete with Walton Goggins and his post-punchout gnashers.

So, here is a Fallout ASMR roleplay that was requested a number of years ago instead! It’s everyone’s favourite morally ambiguous, but ‘good-I-guess’, neighbour, Joshua Graham! The burned man will check the barrels of numerous guns before making sure you’re okay, giving you a stimpak or two, and patching you up to make sure you’re ready for the wastes. His particular style of personal attention and taking care of you involves a lot of pretty aimless discussion and prayer – all softly spoken and relaxing, I promise. I couldn’t get the voice right (it’s quite distinctive and my god the bandages were restrictive), but I hope you forgive me, and moreover, enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.

📽 What is FPC? 🎞

FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
