Welcome to my personal growing of rose Rose ‘Constance Finn’ (Hareden) introduced in 1997 by @harknessroses4035
A small and compact Florabunda reaching around 65 to 80 cm tall and around 65 to 80 cm wide,
A repeat flowering shrub with flowers born in three fives and seven each measuring between around 3 1/2 inches in diameter they’re full of old rose character
Flowers are produced between June and the end of September and late flushes of flowers should be left on the plant to form decent brilliant red hips into the autumn and winter
I found in my growing experience, that this one is a little susceptible to black spot so do watch your watering and mulching with this particular variety
It’s very similar to another rose from the harkness rose company Chandos beauty in its colour, producing light shell pink blooms containing around 40 petals per head, these are a little weak neck and tend to snap during cutting or during poor weather
The foliage is deep green with a high gloss sheen. The fragrance is light hybrid tea based suitable for growing in full sun or partial shade.
Perfect for growing in a patio container as a low informal hedge right at the front of a mixed border
