Icelandic Language Read Out Loud

This is an experimental video of mine. I know that many of my frequent visitors are people who are learning or interested in general in the icelandic language. I also know there aren't that many resources available online where you can listen to somebody speaking icelandic in a "guided" way like this, so I thought I'd contribute to that.

If you are studying or curious about the language I'd really appreciate your comments on whether this is useful or not, and then how I might help you better.

I am reading from the third section of this wonderful book, starting on page 295. Tove Jansson was a master author who created what is in my view one of the most beautiful and deeply mystical worlds in fiction, and this translation by Steinunn Briem adds beautiful icelandic poetry to the source material. I have the utmost respect for those two writers.
