When I got my first chance to listen to Natalia playing the Bandura, I was so amazed and happy. Such a sweet sound coming from this traditional harp-like zither instrument. Of course, it didn't take long for me to join in with the Persian Santoor. It was so wonderful that Natalia Garkun and I decided to get back together and record a video for you people out there.
With the instruments coming from Ukraine and Iran, I see this as a beautiful symbol for uniting humanity, and at the same time an important reminder for the beautiful culture of people on this earth that are suffering because of geopolitical power games. May everyone live in peace and with dignity. May everyone be happy!
