Last weekend was PRI, and after catching up with a bunch of great companies, it was back to the shop for some off-season work.
In this video, we knock out a few winter projects, including installing a new dual-element wing on the Junior Dragster, fixing exhaust clearance issues, and dialing in some small details that matter more than people think.
Reed doesn’t know this yet, but the wing is part of his Christmas surprise
We made a few short test hits in the driveway before the wing, and this thing is already showing a lot of potential.
We’re not chasing numbers or records right now — this is all about seat time, confidence, and letting him have fun while learning how the car reacts. With I-29 Dragway only minutes away, we’ll be getting more test hits soon.
More Beater Bomb content is coming, and things might get a little sketchy…
