On the 19th of November 2010 an explosion occurred at the Pike River Mine near Greymouth New Zealand. 31 men were in the mine, 29 died. Daniel Rockhouse and Russell Smith survived by pure luck. The mine exploded another 3 times and resulted in a major mine fire. This is a record of the explosions and Daniel and Russell's miraculous story of survival.
