Riot visits his parents, whom he hasn’t seen since he left the military for his rock band, Nirvana. Riot’s father still can’t accept his career and starts another fight, until Riot’s mother faints and is taken to the hospital. Riot tells Jem the story of his tough past.

Jem is Jerrica's secret identity, a rock star who has lots of adventures with her sister Kimber and their band The Holograms. Her boyfriend Rio struggles with his feelings for Jem and Jerrica as he doesn't know they are the same person.
On the flip side, there’s The Misfits, a rival band that constantly causes trouble. They’re always trying to outdo Jem’s band, often resorting to dangerous and mean-spirited tactics. The show also features guest appearances from different musicians and bands, keeping the music scene fresh and exciting.
