[Undertale Original] SharaX - Rewind

This took only 6 hours to finish, but took 4 years for me to actually finish it and here's why ⋆ටᆼට⋆

I spend so much time stressing on my work to sound good that it feels more like a chore these days, and I find that when I spend 20-30 hours on a track, it leaves me exhausted and not wanting to write anything in FL for like 3 weeks, which is well, why I barely upload these days. The more time I spend on a track, the more flaws I see that have to be fixed and that's really the reason why I'm taking so long to finish songs now.

I held off doing Rewind for so long because I convinced myself that I needed to rewrite it from the ground up to sound good, but I chose to simply finish the project using all my original instruments from the teaser I posted 4 years ago instead. The reason being, it's unbelievable how much of a hardass I am about my music, I spend so much time pondering to myself like "Do I think they'll like it? Do I think it's good enough to put on the channel?" Like it doesn't matter that I love the track, if I think it's not perfect then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and "lemme delete the chorus that I just spent 3 hours on because I'm certain it's garbo-"

So my work now will be a mix of my current music style and my style from 2015-2016, since I want to be able to write music for fun again and not worry about it so much. Some days I'll feel like writing something challenging like Malevolence. Other days I'll write about a sweet potato idk, but it'll be stress-free. Sure every track I write may not be as impressive as Malevolence or Red Light & have their cool tricks, but it will give me a chance to write more music instead of feeling turned off to it entirely. I also want to treat my music like I can remix things more often rather than going "Oh well I just did Spear of Justice so I have to wait a year-" because that's stupid and if I wanna remix it two weeks in a row with one being my current style and one being my style from 2016 then why not, that just means more hot fish lady for everybody (・∀・)
