Here is an exchange between Leigh Sales and Cardinal George Pell from a press conference in 2012. Pell was responding to the Gillard government’s decision to hold a royal commission into historical child sex abuse within institutions.
After numerous requests for an in-depth interview with 7.30 had been declined by Cardinal Pell, Leigh Sales went along to question him about his handling of allegations against two notorious paedophile priests
