Man resists Taser and stabs police officer in face with pen

A man who stabbed a police officer in the face with a pen has been jailed for nearly four years.

Adrian Popa, 40, left Pc Alexandra Dobbs scarred for life after lunging at her as she attempted to detain him during the incident in August last year.

The court heard how Popa had been spotted lurking in the back garden of his ex-partner’s home in Edgware, north London.
