Imagine living in a different time zone. Imagine having a house filled with things from the past which not only reminds you of the beautiful old times but also gives you the experience of living there. Mr. Yenugu Krishnamurthy has – with years of endless hard work and seeking – created a space that’s a pool of many cultures, practices and legends.

His antique collection started with his mother’s vintage pressure cooker that made the guests in his house feel nostalgic and connect to their memories with their grandparents and parents. He then decided that this is a priceless feeling and he wants to accumulate as much of it as he can.
He says, every little thing, every little mundane thing should have three facets: purpose, beauty and durability. It’s something he learnt from these antiques and he not only preaches it, but also practices it.

After having spent a few hours with him, his collection and their incredible stories, it was hard to come out again into the present world and face the noise and the unnecessary speed. So if you ever wish to travel back in time and take a few breaths of nostalgia, you can visit his home museum and get lost in this beautiful world to find history again.
