Hiking Pipiwai trail to Waimoku falls and Kuloa point in Haleakala NP | Maui Hawaii

We did an island day trip to Maui to check out Kipahulu district on the east side of Maui. We also flew out as we wanted to help out Maui's local businesses during this time #mauistrong #lahainastrong

We hiked the Kuloa point loop trail and Pipiwai trail. Beautiful forest full of lush greens and water streams! This is about a 2 hour drive from Kahului if heading down the body of Maui island and then heading east.

As of today 10/1/23, west maui is CLOSED but the rest of the island is open.
