Highschool graduate Yomogida Fujiko works in an office and has an academic complex. Since she was not able to get to college, she puts in a lot of effort and eventually gains a full-time job at an insurance firm. Her dedication keeps her from being able to say no to assignments, so she gladly takes them.

Nishina Soma, an excellent company employee, moves into the room next door one day. Spending time with her kindly and gentlemanly neighbor helps to calm Fujiko. However, why did the ostensibly wealthy Nishina relocate into this run-down apartment and why is he acting so kindly toward Fujiko?
