The UI Health Distinguished Scholar Series was launched in 2020 and has grown to include a collaboration among the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Quality Officer, and Chief Diversity and Community Health Equity Officer. The UI Health Distinguished Scholar Series provides an opportunity to learn from nationally recognized healthcare leaders: how they think, why they pursue their vision, and how to apply their insights to improve health.

UI Health is UIC's academic health enterprise, comprised of seven health sciences colleges, a 460-bed tertiary care hospital, 21 outpatient clinics, and 14 federally qualified Mile Square Health Center locations.
