The brakes on my Porsche 911/996 Turbo looked old and rusty, so I was considering replacing them. But then I came across a video by @eddchina showing how Evapo-Rust works and I was intrigued. I took off everything that had rust on it (probably should have cleaned them better) and even just by soaking them it worked incredibly well. All the brake discs, bolts and hardware ended up looking way better than expected, and they are now perfectly fit for use again. This is a superb product for removing rust, instead of sandblasting which I was also considering. Highly recommended!
This obviously works on all parts and on all cars, but the exact procedure is also identical on the 996, 986, 987,997, 981, 991, 718, 992, C4S, C2, C4, Carrera and so on.
