Today we're looking at the beautiful and often forgotten Heinkel He 70. Built in answer to the Lockheed Model 9 Orion for Deutsche Lufthansa, it went on to have a prestigious career in Germany's civil aviation sector. It was also used as a military aircraft, albeit to much less glory.
