In the third ODI of the Afghanistan Tour Of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Afghanistan fought hard and scored 266 runs in 48.2 overs before getting all out. Rahmat Shah was the top scorer with 65 runs to his name. However, Sri Lanka had a simple chase as they won the match in just 35.2 overs and sealed a 3 - 0 victory over Afghanistan in the ODI series. Pathum Nissanka led the chase with a brilliant century and was also named the player of the series.
