Barpak is probably one of the largest villages of Nepal, located in the northern part of the Gorkha District. It is at an altitude of about 1900 meters above sea level. The village is popularly known for homestay tourism destination in the mountainous region of Nepal. It is inhabited by ethnic groups like Gurungs, Ghales, and Dalits, among others. It takes about 8 hours from Kathmandu to Barpak, which is known as a starting point of the trekking route to the Manaslu circuit. Many trekkers and tourists visit the village to enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and to experience the traditional lifestyle of ethnic groups in the mountain regions. What a beauty.

Baudha Himal is also known as Buddha Himal, is a populated locality and located in the Gandaki Pradesh, Western Development Region of Nepal. It is part of Manaslu sub-range of the Nepalese Himalayas. The natural attraction, the 6,672 m high Baudha Himal lies in Lamjung and Gorkha districts. The Baudha Himal is located between 28º 22' 32" North Latitude and 84º 40' 44" East Longitude. Thus, the iconic views of Baudha Himal seen from Mamchhe Dada or Mamchhe Hill, Barpak, Gorkha is one of the major attractions for both domestic and international tourists visiting the area.
