From the salmon rivers the Findhorn and the Shin we drive across wild country to the north coast and then westwards, savouring the pretty little bays and rockpools and the breathtaking almost empty beaches. Crossing the Kyle of Durness we travel to Cape Wrath, the extreme northwestern corner of Scotland with its tremendous cliffs. Then, proceeding down the west coast we call in at the fishing ports of Kinlochbervie and Lochinver and the justifiably famous gardens at Inverewe. Finally we enjoy a display of Highland dancing.
