Air France: Every Aircraft type used from 1919 to the Present

From its humble beginnings in 1919, Air France and its predecessors have flown a diverse range of aircraft, reflecting the evolution of aviation technology. Early pioneers like the Farman F.60 Goliath transported passengers and cargo across Europe. The interwar period saw the introduction of iconic aircraft such as the Dewoitine D.338 and the Potez 62, which expanded the airline's reach to North Africa and South America. The Second World War brought challenges and innovations, with Douglas DC-3s and Lockheed Constellations becoming workhorses for both passenger and military operations.  

The postwar era witnessed a rapid expansion of Air France's fleet, with the adoption of jet-powered aircraft like the Sud Aviation Caravelle and Boeing 707. These sleek and powerful machines revolutionized air travel, enabling faster and more comfortable journeys. The 1970s and 1980s saw the introduction of wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and Airbus A300, further expanding Air France's global network. In the 21st century, the airline continues to modernize its fleet with fuel-efficient and technologically advanced aircraft, including the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
