2024 NWS VOLUNTEER VIDEO DESCRIPTION
NWS is an all-volunteer organization and as such we rely on the time, talent and generosity of our members. For 104 years our boards and members have stepped up to create a vibrant, premiere watercolor society that promotes watermedia worldwide.
As the President of NWS, I owe a debt of gratitude to our NWS Board of Directors. Their dedication to our mission of promoting our members, showcasing watermedia in our exhibitions and providing educational opportunities is beyond compare. I am in awe of their willingness to learn, provide answers, help each other and go the extra mile for our members. They often put their brushes down to complete the tasks necessary to keep NWS running, growing and improving.
Thank you to our exhibition Jurors of Selection and Judge of Awards for their service. They bring their expertise and time to jury our shows and continue the one-hundred and four-year history of the highest quality watermedia exhibitions. I appreciate the alternate jurors who kept their schedules open and agreed to serve if needed.
This list does not include the volunteers who are behind the scenes of NWS, but not any less important. Many hours are donated in multiple ways to help us achieve our goals. Thank you to these volunteers for their contributions: editors, exhibition team, gallery sitters, online sales gallery assistance, the Jurors of Selection Committee, Permanent Collection Committee and Patrons Committee.
Our volunteers help keep our community vital and moving forward into the future. With your continued support, NWS will bring forth innovative programs and opportunities that spotlight the importance of watermedia.
