All aboard! North Carolina is home to several different Amtrak trains. In this video, we will take a look at Amtrak's Piedmont and Carolinian as they run between Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, and Charlotte. The Piedmont service is supported by the state of North Carolina and uses locomotives and cars that are owned by the state. In addition to these trains, we will also see the northbound Silver Star as it approaches Raleigh.
