The 2011 BMW 1M is a limited production M car based on the small wheelbase 1-Series of the time, and it has become a bit of a modern BMW legend. It’s powered by a 3.0 L twin-turbo inline-six N54 engine with 335 horsepower, and was only ever available with a 6-speed manual transmission. It also comes with a host of M goodies like a limited slip differential, upgraded suspension, and unique styling. But how does this small M car drive? Does it live up to its expectations?
