The Order of Melchizedek (12th Video in the Hebrew Vocab Block)

This is the 12th and final video in Rebekah's block "12 Basic Hebrew Words."

Rebekah (not a native Hebrew speaker) gives simple understanding to 12 Hebrew words: YHVH, Yahshua, Ruach ha'Kodesh, Shabbat, Mo'edim, Mikvah, Melchizedek (still to come: Elohim, Shalom Aleikhem, Teshuvah, Ahmein and Israel).

Rebekah shows you what the word Melchizedek means hoping to get us on the same page with the definition. YHVH made Yahshua High Priest over His Everlasting Royal Priesthood (the Melchizedek Order). This order is eternal and superior to the Levitical / Aaronic order. The Levitical order was good only while Plan B was put into effect after Israel's covenant breach. This Levitical Law was what was set beside the Ark of the Covenant as a "witness against us" and was what the "against us" was that was nailed to the cross. What "remains" is the Melchizedek Law and YHVH's original intent. The chosen people, the Scattered / Ephraim are being called out of the nations to come back to YHVH and obey him and be part of the Royal Priesthood. This is Biblical Salvation.

We are not subtracting from Torah, but instead are: "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim 2:15), looking at what "was done away with" and "what remains" (2 Cor. 3:11), looking at what law was changed when the priesthood changed (Heb. 7:12), what "was against us" and what was "blotted out" with Yahshua's death (Col 2:14) and what was a "witness against us" (Deut. 31:26). We are making a distinction between the Book of the Covenant (Ex.24:7) and the Book of the Law (Deut. 31:26), looking at what the "superior" covenant is (Heb. 8:1-10:39). We are looking at what "law" was "added" because of "transgressions" (Gal 3:19) and what "law" the people received under the Levitical priesthood (Heb. 7:11). We are looking at what was "abolished" (2 Cor. 3:13), what was "until the time of reformation" (Heb. 9:10); Believers can't ignore that fact that something grand changed at Yahshua -- the Brit ha'Dasha declares it! :-)
