Hey there everyone! Welcome to Comics Class #12: Drawing the Head!

Now that we've finished our Simplified Anatomy series, we'll move on to a new short series of drawing the head, hands, and feet. In my mind, this is a little different than just anatomy, though anatomy is obviously still a factor. But these are very complex, expressive parts of the body that are a lot more about bone structure than musculature, so they need to be studied in a little bit of a different way.

This week, I'm showing you how I break down the head, proportionally, and in its major volumes. This should take you a long way in your art journey! We'll cover the facial features in greater depth later on.
