The Charlie Show /// Episode 71 /// No Prep Drag Racing

No Prep Drag Racing sprang from good old competition. 2 folks with a motorized anything, are likely to race them. This form of simplified racing has only 5 simple rules. 2wd, Rubber Tires, 2s Lipo, 4 shocks, and body must over the wheels. List racing, bracket racing, grudge matches, and call outs are all part of the fun. Much like the Street Outlaws show, there is a "list" with the fastest racers at the top, and the lower races proving they've got what it takes.

Never did we think that "going fast in a strait line" was going to be tricky, but when that is the primary goal, things can get interesting.

Vehicle - Proline Pro2 SCT
Body - Proline Dodge Ram
Tires - Proline Clay Compound Primes
ESC - Hobbywing XR10 Pro
Motor - Hobbywing G3 5.0 turn (Endbell timing set to 20)
Power Cap - Hobbywing 4 Cap Pack for 2s.

ESC is at default settings with drag brake set to 0. Turbo set to 50. Turbo Delay to Instant. Turbo Increase Rate to 30, and Turbo Decrease rate to instant. Motor end-bell timing set to 20 degrees.

Gearing - 58/10 (Mod 0.8/32 pitch gears) stock TRX Transmission internals.
