Balaw Balaw Restaurant and Art Gallery in Angono, Rizal — a local cultural and culinary landmark, as it is more than just a restaurant — it’s a restaurant-cum-art gallery that celebrates Filipino food and culture.
It’s been operating since the early 1980s and was founded by the late artist Perdigon Vocalan and his wife, Luzvimin Vocalan. The family, his son most especially (Rembrandt Vocalan) continues to manage it today.
