Former Department of Justice Pardon Attorney Elizabeth Oyer, who worked at the DOJ for nearly 15 years, was abruptly fired by the Trump administration. This came after Oyer refused to give Mel Gibson, a friend of President Trump, his right to firearms back after he was convicted for domestic violence.
