Bhairabkunda is a high-altitude sacred lake situated in the Sindhupalchok district of Nepal, near the Tibetan border. It is a popular trekking destination, particularly during the Hindu month of Bhadra (August), when a full moon festival draws numerous pilgrims. Situated at an elevation of 4,250 meters, the lake is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty, deep spiritual significance, and panoramic views of the Gaurishankar range, Dorje Lakpa, and other majestic Himalayan peaks.
