Hey guys! Back in 2017 and 2018 I was CRAZY about high pointing, which is where you attempt to reach the highest elevation in a given area.
This was not as difficult to achieve as highpointing 10 U.S. states, which required a considerably larger amount of traveling and took nearly 3 years. However, some of these hikes are quite out of the way and difficult to get to. The trails leading to these highpoints are also not usually marked well. After about 9 months I summited my 10th out of 62 counties in New York.
