Raising (0:13), Cambridge (1:16) and Lowering (2:31) on this charming peal of six in the Bloomfield suburbs of Belfast, housed in an attractive tower dating from 1912 but consecrated in 1929.
The bells were installed in 1949 replacing a large single bell, itself given as a war memorial (and later recast into the current peal), in memory of Canon Moore, a former rector.
These are the third lightest peal of bells in Northern Ireland and the lightest peal in Belfast. They go quite well however, since it wasn't built to hold six bells, the ringing room access is narrow and the ringing space is just 8ft squared!
Filmed 18th September 2018 at the regular Tuesday practice.
(we were helped on this occasion by visiting English ringers!)
