XG – Two Tens reaction.
This is XG’s take on the original Two Tens, and overall — it’s solid.
I’ve had this track on my playlist for a minute, but I hadn’t really sat with it like this. The girls didn’t mess the song up at all. They stayed in pocket, delivered cleanly, and showed skill — but I’ll be real: it didn’t elevate the original either.
This feels more like a showcase than a statement.
You get a clear sense of what XG can do, but I’m still waiting on that next-level moment — the same type of heat they brought on their Rapsody collaboration.
That said, they’re clearly talented, they’ve got presence, and they’re on my radar.
This one’s cool, not mind-blowing — and that’s okay.
I give everybody a chance.
Hip-hop’s about seeing growth in real time.
