လင်းဝေစိမ်းမြတဲ့ ပန်းညများစွာထက်
သရဲခြောက်ရာ ညတစ်ညကို ပိုသတိရတတ်တယ်…။

More than the countless bright, green-moonlit nights of blossoms,
we tend to remember one single night haunted by ghosts.

မြို့ပြင်လမ်းကွေ့က
တွေ့ခဲ့ဖူးသမျှ ဂျစ်ပစီတွေလို
ဖြစ်ခဲ့သမျှကို
ရယ်ကာမောကာပြန်ပြောနိုင်တဲ့ အကျင့်လေး
သွေးအေးအေးနဲ့ ကြိုးစားမွေးနိုင်ခဲ့ပြီ။

Out on the bend of the suburban road,
like the gypsies I once met there,
I have managed to cultivate within myself
a small habit — to retell everything that’s happened, laughing and smiling, with blood gone cold.
