My 16 year old son Elijah chose this beaten up Al Merrick from a pile of boards left for dead as his second board to restore. It had a damaged nose, several dings, a busted FCS2 fin box and broken grip pad. He used resin, fibreglass, expanding foam, Cabosil, together with the FCS2 jig to fix the fin box, and spray paint to make it look and feel like a fully restored newer board.
