Day 83 aboard sailing yacht Doxie and it's a stunner 🌞 — calm seas, clear skies, and a perfect excuse to hop aboard Mini Doxie for some solo dinghy exploration along Queensland’s iconic coast.
Departing Tin Can Bay, I cruised through glassy waters past mangroves and sandbars teeming with pelicans and shags, aiming for Inskip Passage near Fraser Island. The water was tempting, but conditions led to a cautious turnaround.
From the beach, I captured the Manta Ray ferry launching vehicles toward Fraser, and took a sunlit walk along Rainbow Beach’s golden sands. In the distance: Wide Bay Bar, Double Island Point, and the guiding beacon flashing green, white, and red.
