We ran 60 miles offshore into the Gulf to fish some reef structure that doesn’t see many boats. It was a long run, flat calm, and one of those days where you’re not sure if it’s going to be worth the fuel until the bite finally turns on.

We bounced around a few different reefs, picked at fish, lost some to sharks, and slowly put together a solid day. This is the kind of offshore fishing we enjoy most — long runs, clean water, and fishing where you have to work for every bite.
