Comparison Between Blueface & Blackface Ashly SC-40

Decided to settle any questions disputing these two iterations of the preamp. The blue face came first, then followed by a blue version with the aesthetic appearance of the black face in the early 80s, then the blackface as seen in this video.
I level matched everything in post to give a fair comparison. I also compressed the audio but did not EQ it.
Geddy through his stint with the SC-40 used the blackface and the blueface one with the blackface style knobs.
To me, I dont hear any appreciable difference. The Blueface is definantly louder but that doesn't really mean anything. If there are any differences, it isn't anything that couldn't be compensated for with a little EQ.
