Bangkok’s Only Gorilla Lives in a Shopping Mall

I heard rumours about a zoo inside an empty shopping mall in Bangkok including claims that a gorilla has been living there alone for over 30 years.

I wasn’t sure if it was true, so I went to see it for myself.

This video shows what I found inside Pata Zoo, located on the 6th and 7th floors of Pata Pinklao Mall.

The gorilla is named is Bua Noi, and she’s lived in the same glass enclosure since the early 1990s.

Some say the zoo is doing its best. Others call it outdated, unethical, and cruel. I went to film what’s there and let you decide.
