Artificial Intelligence: The Ethical and Legal Debate

Artificial intelligence is making our lives easier, but raises many ethical and legal questions. A meeting of experts in Brussels, organised by the European Parliament’s Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA) discussed the risks AI poses to human rights, and the ethics frameworks and legal safeguards needed to prevent misuse.
