Karlen Aslanyan is a journalist for RFE/RL's Armenian Service, known locally as Radio Azatutyun. He hosts an Internet and Television program covering major political events in Armenia, in which he conducts interviews with high-ranking officials, opposition leaders, and famous experts. During the widespread protests that shook the country from early April to May in 2018, Aslanyan reported from the scenes in live streams that attracted more than three hundred million views on Facebook, and over two hundred million views on YouTube.
