A Warren County woman on Monday accused a teacher of putting her son with autism in a restraining chair inside a closet. Asha Crews said her 6-year-old son, Sincere, was placed in a “restraint chair” inside a broom closet at Mariam Boyd Elementary. Crews said the closet has no air conditioning and showed signs of mold. Crews said the principal told her it wasn’t a restraint chair, but the Warren County Superintendent, Keith Sutton, said it was. Sutton also added the teacher was a contractor and not an employee of Warren County Schools.
