I found a brand new Lionel JLC N&W Y6b. In this video I compare it to a late 90's MTH Premier N&W Y6b that has been upgraded to PS2. I review the visual details, sounds and command functions. Watch to the end to see which engine is the "King of Coal" on my layout.
Part of the reason I was looking for a Y6b is because Lionel released their "King of Coal" superset for 3k. I found this mint in the shipper JLC on eBay for half of a Legacy. I found 12 nused N&W coal hoppers and caboose on Trainz for $500. So my 'Legacy' is that I'm old King Coal for half. TMCC JLC: "Great taste, less filling"
