A Montage of Yakuza Reusing Assets

Welcome to another episode of "please don't show this to anyone from RGG Studio because I don't want to get blacklisted from anything that they might do thanks". In this episode, we make fun of them relentlessly. The thumbnail for this video is me crying that there is no bowling in LJ.

When creating a sequel, many video game developers will use a lot of what they have already made as a basis to begin work on their next project. Some things get replaced or removed; but some things are kept exactly as they are. RGG Studio do uhhh... mostly the latter. This video shows off mostly things that were brought back randomly from old games (like Kiwami 2 and Kaito Files having that Baseball heat action from Yakuza 1) and the asset's first appearance or at least something close to that.

This video does not include every instance of reuse as that would be a 50 hour video, but instead trims A LOT of it down to a nice and tasty 8 minutes because I am not your average 'oh my god click on this 30 hour video to watch 3 seconds of something interesting' YouTuber.
