NYPD: Man attacked, robbed on 2 train in the Bronx; 5 suspects sought | News 12

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to find five people who they said attacked and robbed a 23-year-old man on a southbound 2 train in Longwood. Police said it happened around 9:45 p.m. on March 7 at the Freeman Street subway station. The NYPD released surveillance video from inside the subway car showing the five people they’re looking for. Police said the group is responsible for stealing the victim’s phone and punching him in the back of the head. People in the area told News 12 on Sunday they avoid riding the subway at night. The NYPD said the victim is expected to be OK. Police ask anyone with information to give them a call.
