I had to throw in the Mortal Kombat inference in the title which is an ode to my generation.
These are real OTB tactics and tactical threats during a tournament game in G90, Increment 30. White was a 1,990 player and black (me) was a 1,633 USCF player.
This was round 4 in the North Central Open in Middleton, WI which occurred 12/28/25.
