In this episode of Railway Preservation Stories, we are back at the Derwent Valley Light Railway, this time to take a look and one of the more unique items in their collection, in the form of a permanent way Pump Trolley. Allan Briggs talks us through the history of the permanent way gang on the DVLR, and how this Pump Trolley came to survive into preservation, along with a demonstration running along the length of the line!
