The video is excerpts from the dynamic duo Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle and Buster Keaton’s favored movie “The Cook”. This is a 1918 production, early for Buster. In this movie, Roscoe and Buster work in a dive, yet presumptuous, restaurant and drive the place amok. Surprisingly, this is a very early performance of Egyptian hieroglyphics style gestures that has been imitated since, essentially “Walk Like an Egyptian”.
This musical piece is the beloved Bangles’ instrumental version of "Walk Like an Egyptian”. This song is very fitting to the video. Song modifications, arrangement, instrumentation and delivery are by Ara Jamgochian.
