SGDQ is over and I gotta say, there were a few songs that really inspired me. I have 2-4 videos that I hope to put together over the next few weeks that will be from speed games that had soundtracks that really caught my attention. I decided to start things off with a song from one of my favorite classic games, Tetris. Super blown away every time by the Grandmaster runs. Kind of want to get into it, but I hear the barrier for entry is really steep.

I knew that I wanted to start my cover super slow and dark, and I also knew that I wanted to do a more upbeat section, so I decided to have the BPM start at 70 and over the course of the entire song, gradually slope up to 140. The song does not have a stable BPM until the very end, when it hits 140 and immediately drops back to half time, bringing the song back to the 70 BPM where it started.
