$15 for 5 days! Grocery Budget Challenge | Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Snacks | Cheap Meal Ideas

This week I challenged myself to create enough meals to feed myself for 5 days (breakfast, lunch, dinners and snacks!) for less than $15AUD.
Check out what I came up with!

My Grocery List:
Quick Oats (900g) = $1.65
Milk (1lt) = $1.25
Pears in syrup (825g) = $2.00
White Rice (1kg) = $1.40
Diced Tomatoes (400g) = $0.60
Red Kidney Beans (420g) = $0.80
500g carrots = $1.00
1x onion (160g / $3.00/kg) = $0.48
1x apple (150g / $2.90/kg) = $0.44
Beef Instant Noodles = $1.00
Stir Fry Veg (500g) = $2.30
Mini Dim Sims (15pk) = $2.00

Breakfast:
Overnight Oats with pears.
Soak 2 & 1/2 cups of oats in 1lt of milk plus 1 cup of water. Add tinned fruit and 1/2 of the syrup. Serves 5 (with approx. 2/3 of the pack of oats leftover).
Lunch:
Red Beans and Rice.
Cook 1 cup rice as per packet directions. Saute 1x onion & 250g of carrot until browned. Add 1x can of red kidney beans, 1x can of diced tomatoes, & approx 200mls (half a can) of water. Simmer for 30 minutes or until beans are soft & mashable. Mash some beans & carrots to thicken.
Optional: add Mexican / Cajun seasoning, or Taco mix.
Dinner:
Noodle Soup
Fry 100g of Stir Fry mix (per serve). Add 1 & 1/2 cups of water plus noodle seasoning and bring to the boil. Add dim sims and cook for 2 minutes. Add noodles and simmer for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
Dessert:
Creamed Rice with apple puree.
Bring 2 cups of milk, 1 cup water, plus reserved pear syrup to a gentle simmer. Add 1 cup uncooked rice and simmer gently until all the liquid is absorbed and the rice is cooked. Add more milk / water as needed until desired consistency is achieved. Take care not to scald the milk.
Slice apple and simmer in 3/4 cup of water until cooked. Mash or blend to serve.
