Faber-Castell Pitt Artists Brush Pens Review & Demo

Hello! Sorry that yet again this video is a bit late- I prioritise quality over punctuality (although in a perfect world we'd have both)- and lots of life-stuff has gotten in the way of getting this video uploaded on time.

But enough excuses- today we'll be having a thorough look at the Faber Castell Pitt Pens- the 24 brush set in particular- and I'll show what techniques and effects can be achieved with these pens.I'll talk about the specifics too whilst demonstrating these pens on a completed picture- and show how they work in conjunction with Faber Castell's Polychromos.

"How does Faber-Castell evaluate lightfastness?
Faber-Castell uses the Blue Wool standard to evaluate lightfastness. This standard utilizes eight scales to evaluate lightfast colors and it has been used for Artist paints for many years. It is tested under museum conditions. The Blue Wool test standard is comparable to ASTM D 5383-02 and ASTM D5383-97. The Blue Wool standard relates to our star icons as follows: *** = 7, 8 Blue Wool Scale (Tested Under Museum Conditions); ** = 5, 6 Blue Wool Scale (Tested Under Museum Conditions); * = 3, 4 Blue Wool Scale (Tested Under Museum Conditions)"
